Every Friday we pretend to fly to different places to learn about it and experience the culture. We call it "Fly Away Friday". We started doing this at the beginning of the quarantine and have learnt about so many places. This week we traveled to London. Scroll down to find out how you can experience London right from home. We started our journey by pretending to fly on a plane to London. We looked at a map to understand where we were going. After "checking in" to our hotel, (our bedroom), we took a "tour" of London. We did this by watching a video by Kids National Geographic. The video was about kids pretending to be detectives and they had to find buildings in London using clues. We learnt about Big Ben and the London Eye. We love that buses in London are red. We ended off the afternoon by making and enjoying an afternoon tea party. We decorated the table with flowers and butterflies. We made delicious food. We got dressed up in fancy clothes and listened to classical music from London. My mom told us about the royal family and manners you have to have when meeting the Queen. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoy your visit to London.
